Suzanne Robinson is the President and CEO of Practice with Honor, a
Dental Practice Building and Staff Training consultancy for dental
professionals. She has spent 35 years in business management, with the
last 25 focused on the dental practice.
At 18, Suzanne took a job as a clerk with the Lawson
Companies in Ohio, where she was raised. Within months, she was promoted
to a management position, and learned the nuts and bolts of
running a business – profit and loss statements, ordering, scheduling,
marketing, human resources and more. At 19 she was
promoted to corporate general manager of training, for new franchisees in the
food industry.
In England, at age 27, Suzanne found herself in the dental assistants
chair for the first time via the Air Force clinic at Upper Heyford. To
take advantage of the program, she committed to a minimum of 1000 hours as a
volunteer dental assistant. With this, she was gifted the same training
as the Air Force men and women, to include all manuals and testing. After
3 years, she returned to the states and realized she missed the reward of running a business. She went into practice management/administration.
Suzanne's human resource skills have been cultivated during her 34
years of business management, small business management and psychology
courses and ongoing study of human behavior and communication. She
has learned from her chosen mentors in the dental and business industries,
including Dick Barnes DDS and Raleigh Pinsky marketing and promotions expert
Zig Ziglar.
A Certified Life Coach, Suzanne offers further, unique skills to the
struggling practice, or one, which simply strives to achieve more. Life coaching
works best with relatively healthy people who wish to improve their lives in
specific areas. The intensive life-coaching program through the
Southwest School of the Healing Arts provided Suzanne the tools that enhanced
her relationship and communication skills, which have helped dentists and their
TEAMS to challenge themselves to be the best they can be.
What can you expect from a Dental Practice Consultant who is also a
Certified Life Coach? You can expect to deepen your self-understanding;
gain understanding of how to create a successful life; find and develop healthy
relationships (choose the right employees); cease procrastinating
tendencies, work on stress and time management, goal setting, and creating
action plans; and with all these things, take your business to new levels!
Suzanne has assisted many dentists and their TEAMS in practice
building, getting new patients in the door, overcoming unprofitable behaviors,
resolving staff related issues and much more with her coaching, both in person
and over the phone.
Life coaching differs from therapy in that the focus is more on the
present and future than the past, more on goals and behaviors than emotions and
emotional patterns. Life coaching can
help lead you and your TEAM members to a more balanced, productive, and thus
happier place in life. This new life
will better reflect personal values and priorities. As a Dental Practice Consultant, Practice
Builder, Staff Trainer and Life Coach, Suzanne Robinson is uniquely suited to
assist practices and practice leaders in moving forward, faster.
